The All-New 2023 Toyota Prius

The all-new 5th generation 2023 Toyota Prius was revealed at the LA Auto Show, and it is a completely redesigned vehicle from the ground up. It has a sporty exterior with a one-motion silhouette, and all-wheel drive is standard in Canada. Plus, the legacy name will carry on Toyota's commitment to carbon neutrality.

The 2023 Toyota Prius is built on the second-generation Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform and offers a lower centre of gravity and increased rigidity for enhanced performance and handling. The new Prius has a more athletic look, with a lowered roofline and larger standard wheels. Its hip point is also 30 mm lower than the previous generation. All these combined makes for increased driver comfort and visibility.

5th Generation Hybrid Powertrain

The all-new 2023 Toyota Prius comes standard with the 5th generation hybrid powertrain, which offers 196 horsepower. This is a significant increase from the previous generation, which only offered up to 120 horsepower. The new hybrid powertrain is able to offer more power while still maintaining excellent fuel efficiency.

Toyota Multimedia System

The 2023 Toyota Prius also comes standard with the Toyota Multimedia system that has an available 12.3” display. This is the largest display offered in any Prius model to date.
