The Toyota Connected Services App allows you to connect with your Toyota vehicle at any time from your phone and lets you control certain functions or gather some information about your car’s status. Here are three features included on the app.
A remote control with an unlimited range
The Toyota Connected Services app allows you to control certain features of your vehicle, such as locking and unlocking the doors, opening the trunk or starting the engine. Most of these actions can also be done using the key fob, but unlike the key, the app doesn’t have a limited range, meaning that you know your vehicle will always respond to a command made on the app, no matter how far from it you are. This is useful when you need to remote start your vehicle from a location where radio frequencies are out of reach or if you need to give someone access to your vehicle without being physically present.
A view into your car’s status
The Toyota Connected Services app allows you to check the status of your car at any time. This lets you know if any problems have been detected, if your vehicle is subjected to a recall and if you are approaching a recommended service interval. For your convenience, you can even schedule a service appointment directly on the app. A look at your phone can even tell you how much fuel is in your tank so that you always know if you can take an unexpected trip without having to stop at the pump.
A personal assistant at your fingertips
The Toyota Connected Services app includes a number of features that you can use to plan your trips. For example, it can help you choose a restaurant an find the best way to get there for you as well as planning a route to visit a few places of interest. This is very useful when you are visiting unfamiliar places since it is like having a personal guide directly at your fingertips.
