Here, we take a look at three different things that are different on the 2023 Toyota Highlander compared to this year's model.
The 2023 Toyota Highlander gets a new turbocharged engine
The 2023 Toyota Highlander gets and all-new turbocharged engine for 2023. This engine combines colossal power with outstanding efficiency. This 265-horsepower, 2.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, delivers 310 lb-ft of torque. This is a significant 17% increase over the previous 3.5-litre V6 engine’s 263 lb-ft. The increased torque will provide enhanced accelerations, as well as better driveability in all driving situations.

On Highlander XSE, Limited and Platinum turbo models, you’ll get the Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD with Drive Mode Select and Driveline Disconnect.

It comes standard with an 8-inch infotainment system, but there is an available dual 12.3-inch screens for Limited and Platinum models. The Toyota Multimedia system has been redesigned to provide the best in terms of apps and features, including being Over-the-Air (OTA) updatability, intuitive touch and voice activation controls, Intelligent Assistant to activate systems, search for directions and dictate text messages simply by saying “Hey Toyota.”
The new Toyota Multimedia also allows for dual Bluetooth phone connectivity, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
