Toyota set several new records in November with 19,089 vehicles sold, an increase of 1.9%. Sales of electrified vehicles continued their phenomenal growth with 2,785 units sold, an increase of 36.6%. This is another new record for Toyota's hybrid and PHEV vehicles.
The Toyota Prius Prime PHEV quadrupled its sales with 682 units sold, a gain of 204.5%. The Toyota RAV4 Hybrid ended the month with 1,102 units sold, a gain of 34.7%. Overall, Toyota's electrified vehicles reached 32,903 units sold since the start of the year, up 47.9% from 2018.
Toyota truck sales also increased in November with 13,229 units registered, a 9.3% gain and a new record. The Toyota RAV4 increased by 19.4% while the sales of the Toyota Highlander increased by 18.2%.
