Toyota Unveils Electrified 2025 Land Cruiser

Toyota Canada has introduced the 2025 Land Cruiser, a fully electrified SUV designed for modern Canadian adventurers. The new model, available in three distinct grades, features full-time four-wheel drive and starts at $69,495.

Powerful Hybrid Powertrain and Off-Road Capabilities

The 2025 Land Cruiser is exclusively powered by Toyota's i-FORCE MAX hybrid-electric technology. This powertrain combines a 2.4L turbocharged engine with an electric motor, delivering 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The system enables a towing capacity of up to 6,000 lbs.

Built on Toyota's TNGA-F global truck platform, the Land Cruiser is equipped with full-time four-wheel drive, centre and rear locking differentials, and an electronically-controlled two-speed transfer case. Additional off-road features include Crawl Control, Downhill Assist Control, and Multi-Terrain Select on certain grades.

Advanced Safety and Technology Features

All 2025 Land Cruiser models come standard with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, a suite of active safety technologies. The package includes a Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and a backup camera with washer.

Inside, the Land Cruiser features the Toyota Multimedia system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The system offers voice control and a touchscreen interface for easy operation.

Three Distinct Grades

The Land Cruiser 1958, priced at $69,495, features retro-inspired styling with round LED headlamps and a heritage grille. It includes an 8-inch touchscreen display and fabric upholstery.

The standard Land Cruiser grade, starting at $78,255, adds modern styling elements and enhanced off-road features. It includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen, Softex upholstery, and the Multi-Terrain Monitor system.

The top-tier Land Cruiser Premium Package, priced at $84,257, offers luxury amenities such as 20-inch alloy wheels, a 14-speaker JBL Premium audio system, and leather upholstery.
